Reporting Procedures for Child Abuse, Abandonment, or Neglect
At TAG Academy, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students. As such, it is imperative that all staff members adhere to our reporting procedures regarding any suspicions or incidents of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
All employees, without exception, are obligated to report any concerns or observations related to child welfare to Rabbi Pinny Andrusier, who serves as the designated authority for such matters within our institution. Rabbi Andrusier will then promptly notify the appropriate authorities in accordance with Florida state law.
It is important to note that Florida law grants immunity from liability to individuals who make good faith reports of suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect. Furthermore, all staff members are required to fully cooperate with any subsequent investigations conducted by child protective services.
